Membership Eligibility
How to Join
Any organization or corporation whose activities and objectives are consistent with the SAL Consortium charter may apply to join the Consortium. This includes technology suppliers, solutions providers, end-users, standards organizations, governmental bodies, and consultants. The SAL Consortium identifies three categories of participation: Executive Members, Principal Members and Associate Members.
Executive Members shall be entitled to:
- Eligible for Board of Directors
- Participate and vote in technical working groups
- Inclusion in online member directory: 5 line description; company logo; 4 external links
- Access to white papers and other published documents
- Unlimited members only website user accounts
- Included on promotional handouts in SAL-C conference materials
- Discounts on selected tools, subscriptions and event fees
- Submit guest columns to newsletter
- Provide speakers for SAL-C webinars
- Participate in SAL-C speaker bureau program
Principal Members shall be entitled to:
- Participate in technical working groups, no vote
- Inclusion in online member directory: 3 line description; company logo; 1 external link
- Access to white papers and other published documents
- 5 members only website user accounts
- Included on promotional handouts in SAL-C conference materials
- Discounts on selected tools, subscriptions and event fees
- Provide speakers for SAL-C webinars
- Participate in SAL-C speakers bureau program
Associate Members shall be entitled to:
(Note: Associate Members are limited to Education and Non Profit Institutions)
- Participate in technical working groups, no vote
- Inclusion in online member directory: 1 line description; company logo; 1 external link
- Access to white papers and other published documents
- 3 members only website user accounts
- Discounts on selected tools, subscriptions and event fees
Annual Membership Fee
Upon payment of the following fees the Member is entitled to the entitlements of the Members of the SAL Consortium.

| Associate Members | $1,500 |
Membership Term, Renewal
The period of membership will commence upon the signed date of the membership application and will continue until the signed date the following year. Membership will be automatically renewed (and billed to the applicant) each year, unless the applicant wishes to resign (by written notice to the Secretary of the Consortium) or the SAL Consortium Executive Board determines that the nature of the Member’s participation in the Consortium is inconsistent with the SAL Membership Charter. A Member may withdraw from the Consortium at any time without further obligation.
